On the heels of Thursday night’s 68-64 win over Jacksonville, the Lipscomb women’s basketball team continues home action on Saturday afternoon hosting Atlantic Sun Conference foe North Florida at 4 p.m. at Allen Arena.
Saturday at Allen Arena, Lipscomb will put on its seventh Adoption Rally of the season alongside the mens basketball game against North Florida, beginning at 6:30 p.m. Steve and Becki Hendrix of Franklin and Chris and Claire Carrico of Bellevue will be the adopting families benefiting from the fundraiser.
Forcing a season-high 21 turnovers and hauling in a season-best 48 rebounds, the Lipscomb women’s basketball team topped Atlantic Sun foe Jacksonville 68-64 on Thursday night at Nashville’s Allen Arena.
After a weekend away from competition, Lipscomb track and field gets back underway at two competitions this weekend. Friday and Saturday, the Bison will be at ETSU and the Niswonger Invitational, and will be in Nashville, Sunday, for the TSU Invite.
Anxious to get the 2012 season underway after a fall semester of conditioning, drills and scrimmages, the Lipscomb baseball team hits Dugan Field on Friday afternoon for the first spring practice of the year.
