Ryan Hilgemann joined the Lipscomb University athletics staff as a Communications Assistant in July 2012.
Prior to joining the Lipscomb Staff, Hilgemann had spent a year as an assistant with the Northern State University Sports Information office. While at NSU, Hilgemann was the primary contact for women’s soccer, women’s basketball, women’s swimming and diving and softball.
A native of Aberdeen, S.D., Hilgemann graduated from Northern State in 2011 with a Sports Marketing and Administration degree. While at Northern State, he served as a student assistant coach to the men’s basketball team, under the direction of former Lipscomb head coach Don Meyer. The Wolves squad earned a #4 national ranking and a Sweet 16 appearance with a 29-4 record in 2007-08. In his final year at NSU, Hilgemann interned in the Sports Information office, helping in day-to-day operations.
At the completion of his undergraduate degree, Hilgemann started as a Graduate Assistant for the 2011-12 school year.
Hilgemann continues to pursue his master’s degree in E-Learning Training and Development from Northern State, while he resides in Nashville, Tenn.
