Wrapping up the 2012 regular season, the Lipscomb baseball team makes its shortest trip of the year this week for a key Atlantic Sun Conference series at rival Belmont beginning on Thursday night at E.S. Rose Park at 5 p.m.

Weathering a persistent downpour and a ninth-inning rally, the Bisons swept an A-Sun doubleheader from Jacksonville taking game one 6-1 before earning the series sweep with a 6-2 victory in the nightcap on “Ken Dugan Day” at Dugan Field on Saturday.
