The Lipscomb University baseball team won its first Atlantic Sun Championship on Sunday and earned an automatic bid to this year's NCAA Baseball Tournament! The Bisons are just five wins from Omaha and the College World Series!

This Friday the Bisons will play the University of Georgia at Foley Field in Athens at 2 p.m. CDT. Georgia Tech and Louisville will play the second first-round game at 6 p.m. CDT.

Bisons fans are urged to buy your tickets Tuesday or Wednsday and show up this weekend in Athens wearing purple. There are only 3,200 seats at Foley Field and with Georgia and Georgia Tech both in the tournament tickets may to sell out soon.

Tickets are now available at georgiadogs or by calling 1-877-542-1231 (toll free).

Reserved tickets are $60. General admission tickets are $50. Both of these ticket packages include a ticket to all seven Athens Regional games.

All tickets ordered for the regional will be distributed via Will-Call. Tickets will be available for pickup at the Foley Field ticket windows beginning at noon CDT on Friday.

Visa, Mastercard and cash are all accepted forms of payment.

The Holiday Inn in Athens will be the unofficial Bison fan headquarters.

The Bisons will leave from Athens from in front of Allen Arena at 3 p.m. Wednesday. The public is invited to attend.
