Twins pitcher R.A. Dickey to speak to Lipscomb FCA

Minnesota Twins pitcher R.A. Dickey will be speaking at this week's Lipscomb Fellowship of Christian Athletes (FCA) meeting. The meeting will take place Wednesday, Jan. 28 at 9 p.m. in the Hall of Fame room in Allen Arena.

R.A. was a first round draft pick of the Texas Rangers in 1996 and has logged more than six years in the Major Leagues with the Texas Rangers and Seattle Mariners. He grew up in Nashville, attended Montgomery Bell Academy, then went on to the University of Tennessee. He was also on the 1996 Olympic Team.

R.A. is a gifted speaker and has an amazing story you will not want to miss.  The event is free and open to the public. Everyone in the Lipscomb family is invited to attend.

FCA huddle meetings are held every Wednesday night at 9 p.m. in the Hall of Fame room.
