Lipscomb Bisons baseball coach Jeff Forehand announced Friday afternoon that the opening game with USC-Upstate has been canceled.
The game was scheduled for a 4 p.m. start at Ken Dugan Field at Stephen L. Marsh Stadium, but concerns about the weather conditions prompted the postponement.
Saturday a doubleheader between the Bisons and USC-Upstate has also changed its starting time. The first game will start at 2 p.m.
If the weather conditions result in the cancellation of those games they will be played Sunday afternoon.
This is the home Atlantic Sun opening series for the Bisons. They opened the A-Sun portion of the series last weekend at Mercer, winning the series 2-1.
