Right fielder Antonio Butler, second baseman M.L. Williams and designated hitter-first baseman Tennyson Dodd were named to the All-Freshman Team.
Brothers leads the Atlantic Sun Conference in strikeouts with 126. He is only four strikeouts away from entering the top 10 in the conference for highest number of strikeouts in a season. He ranks second in NCAA Division I in strikeouts and is rated seventh in the NCAA in strikeouts per nine innings (12.86). He had a career-high 14 strikeouts against North Florida on April 10. He finished in double figures in strikeouts six times this season.
Brothers is projected to be a first round pick in this summer’s Major League Draft.
He is first overall in the A-Sun in opposing batting average (.213). He started 13 games this season, pitching four complete games, including one shutout.
Butler has 11 multi-hit games and eight multi-RBI games, including one four-RBI game. He is fourth on the team in runs batted in with 30. He is fifth on the team in both slugging percentage (.416) and runs scored (32).
He is second on the team in stolen bases with nine and tied for third on team in home runs with five.
Williams is tied for second on the team with a .321 batting average. He is third on team in multi-hit games with 18. He is fourth on the team in both slugging percentage (.442) and hits (50). He is fifth on the team in both on base percentage (.350) and home runs with three.
Dodd is tied for first on the team with the longest hitting streak at 13 games. He has 14 multi-hit games, including one four-hit game. He has eight multi-RBI games, including a season-high seven-RBI game against Campbell May 8.
He is third on the team in slugging percentage (.445), RBI (32) and doubles (10). He is tied for third in home runs with five. He is fifth on the team in batting with a .280 average.
