NORFOLK, Va. – Former Lipscomb backstop Caleb Joseph was promoted to the AAA Norfolk Tides from the AA Bowie Baysox on Tuesday.

The former seventh-round selection by the Orioles and Nashville native is hitting .248 for the Baysox having made 46 starts behind the dish. Joseph was a two-time All-Atlantic Sun Conference first-team selection for the Bisons leading Lipscomb to the 2008 NCAA Tournament after belting 17 home runs as a junior.
