Top 10 of 11-12: Bond makes silver screen debut in Moneyball

NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Just over a month into the 2011-12 school year, Moneyball opened in theaters nationwide eventually earning over $110 million at the box office and garnering six Academy Award nominations.

Among the cast, former Lipscomb baseball hurler Casey Bond starring as Chad Bradford along side Brad Pitt and Jonah Hill. It was the big screen debut for the former Bison, who was 2007 draftee by the San Fransisco Giants.

Bond has since landed several commercial roles and a prominent role in the upcoming faith-based, feature film Ring the Bell that is in post production.
