Tickets for the 2011 Atlantic Sun Conference Baseball Championship are on sale now. The tournament runs May 25-28 at Lipscomb's Ken Dugan Field. As many as three of the six teams participating could receive bids to the NCAA tournament.

Lipscomb has players in summer leagues as far away as Alaska and close as the state of Kentucky. Chad Fromm is playing in the Alaska Baseball League and Ben Johnson and Brett Teschner are playing in the Kentucky-Illinois-Tennessee League.

Collins, 29, played one year of baseball for Forehand at Trevecca Nazarene University. After his playing days were over he spent four years as an assistant coach for Forehand.
