NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Squeezed in between a pair of Atlantic Sun Conference road trips, the Lipscomb baseball team returns to Ken Dugan Field at Stephen L. Marsh Stadium at 6 p.m. on Tuesday night to host in-state foe UT-Martin.
The contest is “Military Appreciation” night with all veterans, current service members and their families receiving complimentary admission. The Bisons will also wear special camouflage caps that will be for sale with the proceeds benefitting the Lipscomb “Yellow Ribbon Program” that allows veterans to attend Lipscomb free of charge.
Lipscomb will send redshirt junior righty Jacob Knott to the hill to take on UT Martin right hander Chris Ross. Knott has made eight starts on the season for the Bisons with a 4.40 ERA in 43.0 innings of work. Ross is set to make only his second start for the Skyhawks having appeared in 18 games this season with a 5.67 ERA.
