NASHVILLE, Tenn. – For the final time in 2013, the Lipscomb baseball team hits the road for a 6 p.m. nonconference tilt at Tennessee Tech in Cookeville.

The two in-state foes met early in the season with the Bisons (21-31) taking a 12-1 decision over the Golden Eagles (36-14).   Since that meeting, Tennessee Tech has been on a roll including a 22-5 mark in Ohio Valley Conference action.

Lipscomb is scheduled to send redshirt junior righty Jacob Knott to the hill against Tech junior right hander Garrett Baugh.  Knott is 2-4 on the season including the Feb. 19 win over TTU and owns a 4.50 ERA.  Baugh is 4-1 this year with a 6.75 ERA.  The Bisons roughed Baugh up in the previous meeting for three earned runs, three hits and a walk in one third of an inning.

The Bisons return home on Thursday opening a three-game Atlantic Sun Conference series against Kennesaw State.
