Baseball inks highest rated class in school history

NASHVILLE, Tenn. – For the second consecutive season the Lipscomb baseball team is soaring to new heights with a back-to-back top-100 signing class as head coach Jeff Forehand has added 10 players to the 2016 roster in the early signing period.

“I love the class that's coming in,” Lipscomb head coach Jeff Forehand said. “We have not only signed quality players, but also quality people that fit in to our program and our school. Finding quality young men was a priority for our coaching staff and I think we have achieved that.”

PerfectGame.org ranks the Bisons’ 2015 signing class at 61st in the nation, making it the highest ranked class in school history and moving 20 spots higher than last season’s 81st.

“Having the highest ranked class in school history is directly related to our assistant coaches and the time they put in to build relationships with these guys," Forehand said. “They have worked tirelessly and I can’t say enough about the work they have put in and that work pays off when you get quality people in the program."
