KENNESAW, Ga. – After Friday night’s opener at Kennesaw State was suspended in the bottom of the eighth inning, the Bisons and Owls finished out the Atlantic Sun Conference contest Saturday afternoon with KSU downing Lipscomb 10-1 at Stillwell Stadium.

The game was halted in the bottom of the eighth with KSU leading 8-1, but when play resumed, the Owls managed to scrap across two more.

The Bisons only run came in the top of the third when Michael Gigliotti laid down a sacrifice bunt with the bases loaded to plate Von Watson.

Lipscomb was outhit 15-3 with Hunter Hanks and Chucky Vazquez, along with Gigliotti, the only ones with base knocks.

Kennesaw State (19-20, 9-1 A-Sun) got two men on base by-way of a walk and a hit batter in the bottom of the sixth, before using back-to-back doubles to drive in three and push its lead to 8-1.

With the defeat, Glenn falls to 2-2 on the season.

KSU’s Gabe Friese was lights out from the git go. The righty worked 8.0 frames allowing just one run on three hits. He struck out eight and walked three in 106 pitches.
