Coach Fletcher Quote:
"Preston Embrey is a senior outfielder. He was an infielder who we moved to the outfield at the end of last season and it worked out well for him. He runs fairly well, and plays the game extremely hard. Every year that Preston has been here he has started the season in a backup role and found his way into the starting lineup. I applaud everything he has done here, his grades, his academic and his social standing. He is the kind of guy we want as a Lipscomb baseball player."

2005:
Fourth on the team in batting average at .287... Fourth on the team in slugging percentage at .407... Tied for first on the team in stolen base percentage at 1.000. Posted nine multi-hit games with seven two-hit games, one three-hit game and one four-hit game. Also had three multiple RBI games, including one with five vs Stetson (May 7). Longest hitting streak of the season was seven games. Started three games at second base, four at third and 16 in left field.
