JUCO: Led Chattanooga State to 2010 conference and regional championships and an appearance in the NJCAA World Series…Went 6-0 with eight saves as a sophomore…Fanned 36 batters in 41.2 IP…Posted a 3.46 ERA on the hill…Earned All-Region and All-TJCCAA honors as well as team MVP laurels. 

High School:  Prepped at William Blount High School where he was an All-State football player for the Governors…Earned team MVP and All-District honors in 2007 after leading the team to the district championship…Named William Blount Athlete of the Year as a senior…Named Times Daily Sports Page Athlete of the Year.
