Lyn Baker began his gymnastic career while a student in elementary school. He went on to lead Lipscomb's college gymnastics team to national prominence in the early 60's. His two outstanding events were floor exercise and trampoline. He won the Southern Intercollegiate Gymnastic League trampoline championship in 1963, 64 and 65 and was named an NAIA All-American in 1965.

The formal deadline for nominations is December 1 of the year prior to induction. To nominate an individual for the Lipscomb University Athletic Hall of Fame please provide as much data as possible in support of your nomination.
