Saturday's graduation is extra special for Benson

This spring’s graduation will be the largest in the history of Lipscomb University, but no one will have a bigger smile than Neal Benson. The former Bisons pitcher will graduate with a business management degree 25 years after his dismissal from the baseball team at the end of his junior season.

The Allen Arena playing court was named after former men's basketball coach Don Meyer in a ceremony held at Saturday's basketball game against Kennesaw State. Meyer is the all-time winningest men’s collegiate basketball coach with a record of 923-324 in 38 years as a head coach.

Where are they now? with Dolph Morrison

Dolph Morrison played baseball for Lipscomb in 1958 and 1959 before graduating in 1960. After excelling in Business and Math at Lipscomb, Dolph continued his outstanding achievements in the business world for over 40 years until his retirement in 2003.
