On the heels of a first-ever bid to the NCAA Men’s Basketball Tournament, Lipscomb Athletics has announced that basketball season tickets are officially on sale for the 2018-19 season.
The Bisons may have lost to North Carolina on Friday, but that shouldn't take away from the history the team made in 2017-18.
The Lipscomb men’s basketball team’s historic run came to an end on Friday afternoon as the 15-seed Bisons fell to the 2-seed North Carolina 84-66 in the first round of the NCAA Tournament.
For the first time in program history, the Lipscomb Bisons will be dancing as they are set to take on No. 2 North Carolina Thursday in the First Round of the NCAA Tournament at the Spectrum Center in Charlotte. Tip is set for 1:45 PM CT on CBS.
The Lipscomb basketball team went through Media Day and a light practice at the Spectrum Center on Thursday.

After being on the verge of making the NCAA Tournament in 2006 and falling short, things have since been tough for the Lipscomb basketball program. This year with a new attitude and new foundation, the Bisons have achieved history, and it's only the beginning stages.
Doors will open at 4:00 p.m. with TBS televising the Selection Show at 5:00 p.m. Fans can enjoy light refreshments, music and entertainment as well as remarks from head coach Casey Alexander and Athletics Director Philip Hutcheson.
