Friday night in front of a standing room only crowd of 5,387, the second largest crowd in Allen Arena history, the Lipscomb Bison fell 84-58 to rival Belmont in the second installment of the “Battle of the Boulevard.”

Friday's Battle of the Boulevard against Belmont has sold out. A limited number of standing room only tickets are being sold through LipscombTickets.com for $10 each. The game is set to tip at 6 p.m. and will be broadcast on CSS, ESPN3, and 102.5 The Game.

Approximately 70 reserved seats and 50 general admission seats remain for Friday's men's basketball game against Belmont in Allen Arena, the athletic ticket office announced Tuesday afternoon. Tickets are $15 for a reserved seat and $12 for a general admission seat.

The men's basketball team jumped out to a 15-point halftime lead Monday evening against the Jacksonville Dolphins and went on to win 82-68 in front of 2,424 fans in Allen Arena. Freshman Malcolm Smith led Lipscomb with 21 points.

Lipscomb will go for the season sweep of Jacksonville Monday in Allen Arena at 6:30 p.m. The Lipscomb Sports Network presented by Jackson will broadcast the action on 102.5 The Game. Children 12 and under will receive free admission with the purchase of an adult ticket.

The Lipscomb Bison celebrated Star Wars night, but the force was not with them. The Bison started out on the wrong foot in the first half and were unable to recover despite a much stronger second half in a 71-59 Atlantic Sun loss to North Florida Saturday night at Allen Arena.

The Lipscomb Bison go for their 100th win in Allen Arena Saturday at 6:30 p.m. against the North Florida Osprey in the annual “Star Wars Day” with Lipscomb basketball. The game will be carried on 102.5 The Game
