Lipscomb University's men's basketball team added some height with the signing of Thomas Pfaff, a 6-foot-6 forward from Clarksville Northeast.

"I like his athleticism," said Lipscomb coach Scott Sanderson. "Thomas really runs the floor well. He can shoot facing the basket or with his back to the basket. He also has an incredible work ethic."

Pfaff averaged 6.5 points and 5.8 rebounds a game last season as a junior.

"Thomas is one of the hardest working young men I have ever coached," said Al Cooper, Clarksville Northeast boy's basketball coach. "He has gone from a kid, who I was told by his middle school coach would never play for me, to receiving a full Division I scholarship. He is the true meaning of a student-athlete. He is very deserving of the scholarship he has received."
