Florida No Vacation For Bisons

Lipscomb's Bisons said farewell to Florida Monday night with a 71-66 loss to Stetson in Atlantic Sun competition.

The Bisons led 28-25 at the half, holding Stetson to 32 percent shooting.

Stetson rallied in the second half, overcoming a 10-point lead by the Bisons. Lipscomb held the 10-point advantage with 6:58 left in the game. Stetson's defense kicked in down the stretch, holding the Bisons without a field goal for a six-minute stretch.

The Bisons placed three players in double figures. James Poindexter scored 19 points, tying for the game high. LaBrian Lyons and Eddie Ard each added 10 points.

All of Poindexter's points were scored in the second half.

The Bisons are 8-6, 3-4 in the A-Sun. Stetson is 6-9, 4-4 in the conference.
