The Lipscomb Bisons have officially clinched a berth in the Atlantic Sun Conference basketball tournament according to the conference office.

Devlin Pierce, assistant commissioner of the Atlantic Sun announced Friday afternoon that Lipscomb, Belmont, UCF and Gardner-Webb have all qualified for the tournament.

Pierce stressed that 11 wins is not a guarantee of a berth, but that the conference "did some scenarios and Belmont and Lipscomb cannot lose out in any scenario."

Tonight, the winner of Jacksonville-Georgia State game clinches a spot, and a loss by Stetson eliminates the Hatters.

There are still four berths left to fill.

The tournament begins Thursday at Belmont University.
