Lipscomb University men`s basketball coach Scott Sanderson has announced the signing of Brandon Moore from Birmingham, Ala..

Moore, 6-foot-5, 185 pounds, averaged 12 points and five rebounds per game his senior year at Ramsay High School. He played center in high school, but is expected to be a wing player for the Bisons. Moore was a key player on a team that finished 26-7, winning the first boy's state basketball title in the history of the school.

"Brandon is a versatile player who can play either the No. 3 or No. 4 spots on the perimeter," said Sanderson. "His ability to defend several positions will be valuable. He has a long body and is very athletic. He is a good rebounder and shoots well off of the dribble.

Moore was named to the Southwest Regional All Tournament Team and the All-Birmingham City Schools All-Tournament Team as a senior. He also was named the "Best All-Around Player" on the Ramsay team.

Moore is undecided about his major.
