Senior forward Eddie Ard and freshman guard Josh Slater and freshman center Adnan Hodzic have earned postseason honors from the Atlantic Sun Conference coaches and sports information directors.

Ard, from LaPlace, La., was named All-Atlantic Sun Second Team.

Slater, from Nashville; and Hodzic, from Sarajevo, Bosnia, were named to the A-Sun All-Freshman Team.

Ard has been one of the top players for the Bisons during his career. He has surpassed the 1,500-mark in scoring. This season he has led the Bisons with 15.2 points per game. He scored a career-high 35 points against Campbell on January 3, 2008. This was the second year in a row he has been named to the A-Sun Second Team.

Both Slater and Hodzic have been strong in the last half of the season.

Slater, playing the point, has scored 16 or more points in five of his last six games. He has led the Bisons in rebounding in three of his last four games.

Hodzic has started the last 13 games in a row and has made 14 starts this season. He has averaged in double figures in scoring in his last six games.
