Lipscomb University head coach Scott Sanderson will participate in the Coaches vs. Cancer Tip-Off Breakfast Thursday, Oct. 8 at the Wildhorse Saloon.

Sanderson will join local head coaches Kevin Stallings (Vanderbilt), Rick Byrd (Belmont), and John Cooper (Tennessee State) in discussing the upcoming basketball season.  Local sports personality George Plaster of 104.5 The Zone will serve as the emcee for the event.

The breakfast begins at 7 a.m. with the program beginning at 7:30 a.m.  Tickets are $30 per person

The event is sponsored by Franklin American Mortgage Company in conjunction with the National Association of Basketball Coaches and the American Cancer Society.
