NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Looking to gain ground in the Atlantic Sun Conference race, the Lipscomb men’s basketball team continues league action on Thursday night hosting Stetson at 6:30 p.m. at Allen Arena in a contest that airs on ESPN3 and via the WatchESPN app.

The Bisons look to avenge an 85-69 loss to the Hatters in January that saw Lipscomb senior guard Deonte Alexander score 23 points in a losing effort.

The veteran sharpshooter is pacing Lipscomb in scoring averaging 13 points per game just ahead of sophomore forward Malcolm Smith, who is adding 12.6 points per night.  Alexander and Malcolm Smith are joined in double figures by redshirt freshman center Stephen Hurt, who is scoring 11.3 points per night and sophomore forward Martin Smith, who averages 10.6 points per game.

Since topping the Bisons on their home court, the Hatters have lost four of their last five contests.  Stetson features a duel threat at the top of the scoring chart as Adam Pegg 15.5 points per game, while Chris Perez adds 15.4 points a night.
