Miller and Brammeier earn A-Sun All-Academic honors

MACON, Ga. – The Lipscomb men’s basketball team picked up another pair of postseason honors on Tuesday as Cam Miller and George Brammeier were selected to the 2016 Atlantic Sun Conference All-Academic team.

The duo was honored for their play on the court and their hard work in the classroom in the selection to the five-member team that represents the top student-athletes in the league.

Having emerged as a starter for the last 18 games for the Bisons, Miller boasts a 3.89 grade point average in corporate management.  The junior has averaged seven points-per-game in league play and ranks fifth in the A-Sun in assist-to-turnover ratio.

Owning a 3.43 grade point average in biochemistry, Brammeier sits atop the conference in field goal percentage in league contests.  The sophomore has hit .625 percent of his shots from the field and ranks eighth in the league averaging 2.3 offensive rebounds per night.

The honors are the first for both Miller and Brammeier.

The Bisons open play in the 2016 Atlantic Sun Conference Tournament on Tuesday night at 6 p.m. at No. 3 Jacksonville at Swisher Gymnasium.  The contest will air live on ESPN3.
