LAKEPOINTE, Ga. – After connecting on eight bombs from beyond the arc, Lipscomb’s Nathan Moran has been named ASUN Conference Men’s Basketball Player of the Week as announced by the league on Friday.
The junior guard was on fire from deep in Thursday night’s win at Kennesaw State that saw the Bisons wrap up ASUN regular season action with the No. 2 spot in the league standings heading into postseason play at home on Monday. Moran went for 24 points against the Owls and added six assists to go with a trio of rebounds in the victory. The Franklin, Tennessee native hit 8-of-12 from deep just missing tying the school record of nine in the NCAA era that he owns a share of.
