ATLANTA, Ga. - Lipscomb's Eli Pepper earned this week's ASUN Conference Men's Basketball Player of the Week, as announced by the league office on Monday.
For the third-straight week Lipscomb earns the Player of the Week honor. Pepper earns his first Player of the Week award after a career game against Jacksonville.
In Lipscomb's victory against the Dolphins, Pepper scored a career-high 27 points and hauled in 14 boards. In the win, he shot six-of-seven from the field, including two-for-two from downtown. He also dished out three assists, had two steals and one block.
Pepper helped Lipscomb to a midweek win over North Florida on Wednesday, as he did a little bit of everything. He chipped in with four points, eight boards, three assists, two steals and registered one block.
This season, he leads the Bisons in rebounding at 7.5 RPG, which sits third in the entire ASUN. Lipscomb is now 11-0 in ASUN play and has won 19 in a row against ASUN competition. The Bisons are just one of five teams nationally to remain unbeaten in conference play.
