Former Lipscomb University coach Don Meyer will be inducted into the Tennessee Sports Hall of Fame. Meyer is one of 11 inductees to be enshrined at the hall of fame's annual banquet on Friday, Feb. 11, 2011, at the Renaissance Hotel in Nashville.

While the Bisons went on their own runs to close the gap and forced overtime, the energy expended with an injury-shortened bench provided a significant obstacle to overcome during the extra period.

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – The Lipscomb Bisons traveled to Birmingham, Ala., Monday night to face the Samford Bulldogs in their first road game of the year. The Bulldogs frustrated the Bisons with their precision-style Princeton offense and pulled away in the second half to defeat Lipscomb 57-50.

Wayne Dedrick has decided to pursue a professional baseball career. Dedrick, the 30th round selection of the Milwaukee Brewers in the 2008 First-Year Player Draft, signed a contract with the club Thursday morning. Dedrick had previously signed a National Letter of Intent to play basketball at Lipscomb University.
