High School: Played under coach Mike McPherson at David Lipscomb High School…Led team to a 19-9 record as a senior…Was honored as honorable mention “Top Guard” in Middle Tennessee by the Nashville City Paper…Named All-District 10-AA as a senior…Reached the state tournament quarterfinals as a junior.

Personal: Son of Scott and Ronda Sanderson…Has three brothers, Clint, Garrett, and Grant…Grandfather is Wimp Sanderson, former head coach at Alabama and Arkansas–Little Rock.
