BOILING SPRINGS, N.C. _ The Bisons finished seventh as a team on a windy day on the Gardner-Webb campus for the Atlantic Sun Conference Championships.

Ryan Chastain, the top finisher for Lipscomb, earned a spot on the All-Freshman Team for the A-Sun. Chastain covered the 8-kilometer course in time of 21:28 to finished 21st overall.

Jordan Wilson was 26th with a time of 27:49. David Wolfe was close behind in 28th with a time of 27:51.

Paul Irvin crossed the finish line in 45th place with a time of 28:59 followed by Jared Carlson in 49th with a time of 29:39.

Rounding out the field for the Bisons were Clint Carter in 53rd (30:36), Tim Cotton in 54th (30:45) and Andrew Shankles in 57th (31:06).

Lipscomb University will host the A-Sun Conference Cross Country Championships in the Fall of 2007.
