Saturday, October 16, 2010The Lipscomb Bisons cross country team finished 36th out of 50 teams at the Chile Pepper Cross Country Festival at the University of Arkansas in Fayetteville Saturday.
Tim Muller was the top finisher for the Bisons on the 8-K course. He was 95th with a time of 31:38.02.
Geoff Musick crossed the finish line in 179th place with a time 32:43.46.
Rounding out the finishers for the Bisons were Ashton Fisher in 293rd (34:02.88), Isaiah Greer in 299th place (34:09.68), Benton Reed at 318 (34:25.75), Mike Yang in 349th place (35:01.48) and Hunter Hethcoat in 373rd place (35:20.45).
There were 463 runners in the field.
In the Evansville Invite the Bisons were 10th in a field of 13 teams.
Jeff Hoover was the top finisher for the Bisons in 46th place with a time of 26:47.66.
Jonathan Williams was 59th with a time of 27:09.76.
Rounding out the finishers for the Bisons were:
Ben Wright, 78th, 27:39. 36; Cliff Denton, 91st, 28:15.33; Carmac Carolan, 93rd, 28:27.15; Aaron Todd, 95th, 28:29. 92; Phillip Brasher, 115th, 29:50. 43; Andrew Jones, 121st, 30:29.84; Jonathan Carmody, 135th, 33:26.63.
There were 144 runners in the field.
