MACON, Ga. - In a season where few things went right for the Lipscomb Bisons cross country team, Ben Wright earned a spot on the Atlantic Sun All-Academic Team.
"I'm happy for Ben Wright,” Lipscomb cross country coach Bill Taylor said. “I knew we weren't going to have many guys on the Scholar-Athlete team this year because freshmen aren’t eligible.
“We have so many freshmen that very few of the conference roster runners could be considered. Ben works hard in the classroom in Engineering, a very tough major. He deserves this."
The team was announced Wednesday.
