 The Lipscomb men's golf team finished in eighth place in the Atlantic Sun Conference Golf Tournament. The Bisons shot a third round 305 Tuesday for a 929 overall score.

The Lipscomb men's golf team will stay in the Music City for Tennessee State's Big Blue Intercollegiate. The 36-hole tournament begins on Monday and concludes Tuesday at the President’s Reserve at the Hermitage Golf Course.

Lipscomb is five strokes behind Southeastern Louisiana, the host team of the Carter Plantation Intercollegiate. The Bisons covered the first 18 holes with a team score of 295. Southeastern Louisiana shot 289 as a team.

The Bisons are coming off a fourth place finish last week in the Grover Page Classic in Jackson, Tenn. They will be seeking a higher finish at the ninth annual Carter Plantation Intercollegiate hosted by Southeastern Louisiana.
