Weather was the ultimate winner Saturday as the second day of the Mason Rudolph Championships at the Legends Club in Franklin was canceled due to rain.

The final day of the tournament is Sunday with the opening tee-off set for 7:30 a.m. The tournament will be a 36-hole event due to the loss of the second round.

The Bisons ended the first round Friday in 17th place with a team score of 307, 23-over par. Arkansas State leads the tournament with a 272, 12-under par.

The men’s teams are playing the South Course, a 7,100-yard, par 71 course.

Freshman Blanton Farmer led the Bisons with a score of 74, tying him for 61st place.

Brandon Mundie tied for 74th place with a 76. Andrew Brock finished the first round with a score of 78, tying for 82nd. Samuel Marcrom finished the day in 85th place with a 79. Blake Brooks shot an 89 to finish in 88th.

The Bisons will start Sunday on the 10th hole. Brooks will be the first Bisons player in the tee box at 9 a.m. Marcrom will start at99:09. Brock will begin the round at 9:18 followed by Mundie at 9:27 and Farmer at 9:36.
