Hale, Lewis And Team Tied For Second At EKU Tournament

RICHMOND, Ky. _ Lipscomb's Cody Hale and Taylor Lewis are both tied for second after two rounds of the Eastern Kentucky Colonel Classic at the Arlington Golf Club Friday.

The Bisons are also tied for second as a team behind host Eastern Kentucky with a second-round 278 for a two-day total of 564. The Bisons are two strokes off the pace. They are 12-under for two rounds, which golf coach Ralph Samples says is a school record.

Hale shot a second round 67. Lewis shot a 68. Hale and Lewis both have two-day totals of 138.

Parker Beck is tied for 14th with a two-day 142 (70-72). Justin Perry is tied for 27th with a 146 (73-73). Paul Warren was tied for 35th (73-75) with a 148.
