Lipscomb in 7th after 36 holes at TSU Intercollegiate

The Lipscomb Bisons participated in the first two rounds of the TSU Intercollegiate Monday at Greystone Country Club in Dickson, Tenn.

After finishing a team season-best 9th place last weekend at the Belmont Intercollegiate, Lipscomb is in 7th place in a field of 9 teams.

Cory Parkinson is tied for 8th place after shooting par on the par 73 course on each set of 18 Monday. His 146 strokes are ten behind leader Mitchell Moore of Murray State, but only four strokes off second place.

Lipscomb's Taylor Lewis is tied for 20th with a 149 (72-77). Andrew Green is 43rd with 158 strokes (83-75). Dustin Lynch is a stroke behind tied for 44th place (77-82). Lipscomb's team play is rounded out by Jase Renneke with a 163 (82-81) for 52nd place.

As individual entries, John Higgins shot a 172 (91-81) and Josh Dyer shot a 174 (83-91) for 54th and 55th places, respectively.

John Higgins, Andrew Green, and Josh Dyer each had an Eagle for the Bisons. Cory Parkinson and Taylor Lewis led Lipscomb with nine Birdies each.

The final round of 18 will be played Tuesday at Greyston Country Club.
