Harston advances to Senior Nationals
Lipscomb golf coach Buddy Harston qualified for the Senior PGA Professional National Championship with a win at the Tennessee PGA Senior Section Championship at Bear Trace at Harrison Bay in Chattanooga.

On the second day Harston shot a three-under 33 on the back nine to win the division. He beat defending champion Mark Houser and former Lipscomb golfer Will Brewer, now with the Vanderbilt Legends Club, by one stroke. All three qualify for the national championship to be held in La Quinta, Calif., in October.

There were 20 senior PGA professionals from across the state in the tournament field.
