The Lipscomb men’s golf team returns to the links this weekend as they travel to Lexington, Ky., to participate in the fourth annual Kentucky Bluegrass Invitational.

The event will serve as the Bisons final regular season tune up before next week's Atlantic Sun Championships, which will be held in Atlanta April 18-20.

The Bisons will be one of 18 teams participating in the two-day 54-hole event.

The first round of the tournament will begin Saturday (April 9) via shotgun start at 7:30 a.m. CT with continuous play until the second round is completed. The final round will begin Sunday at 7 a.m., with staggered tee times. Tee times will be pre assigned for the first two rounds with groupings being organized by teams.

The tee times on Sunday will be based upon team standing after the first two rounds.

The 2011 Kentucky Bluegrass Invitational will be played at the 7,013-yard par-71 University Club of Kentucky.
