Men's golf signs pair for 2018-19

NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Looking to build upon the team’s appearance in the 2017 NCAA Men’s Golf National Championship, Lipscomb director of golf Will Brewer has signed a pair of high school standouts for the 2018-19 season.

Austin Aliff and Mason Nam have signed their National Letters of Intent and are a duo that Brewer is excited to have join the program.

Austin Aliff / 5-11 / 170 / Vero Beach, Florida (Vero Beach High School)

  • Tied for sixth in the 2017 Class 3A Finals
  • Helped lead Vero beach to a second-place finish in the 2016 Class 3A Finals
  • Helped lead Vero Beach to the 2016 Class 3A District 16 Regional Championship
  • Helped lead Vero Beach to the 2015 Class 3A Region 6 Championship
  • 2017 Team Captain
  • Plans to major in Business
  • Person he admires most is Justin Thomas

  • Set the all-time school record for lowest 9-hole score (31)

  • 2016 Chaparral Invitational Champion

  • Brother played golf at Pepperdine
  • Plans to major in Accounting
