SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. - The Lipscomb men’s golf team heads west of the Mississippi for the first time this spring when it competes in the 4th Annual Desert Mountain Intercollegiate Saturday and Sunday in Scottsdale, Arizona.
Hosted by the University of Michigan, the 54-hole event will be played at Desert Mountain’s Outlaw Course, which plays a par 72 at 7,107 yards.
Saturday will see the teams play two rounds, or 36 holes, before wrapping up action with the final 18 on Sunday.
- The 12-team field consists of Michigan, Fresno State, Kansas, Lipscomb, Miami (Ohio), Nebraska, Oregon State, Purdue, Saint Mary’s, San Diego, Utah and Washington State.
- Tee times are set for 9 a.m. on Saturday, and 9:30 a.m. on Sunday.
- Lipscomb is coming off a 9th-place finish in the Sea Best Invitational and a 13th-place at the Gator Invite two weeks ago.

The Bisons head to Athens, Georgia to take part in the one-day Southern Intercollegiate on Monday, March 12, hosted by the University of Georgia.
