VERO BEACH, Fla. – The Lipscomb men’s golf team closed out its fall schedule on Tuesday as the Bisons placed 13th at the Quail Valley Collegiate Invitational in Vero Beach, Florida.
Lipscomb shot a +11, 875 in for the two-day, 54-hole tournament, posting scores of 297, 291, and 287 for the three rounds.
Sophomore Linus Samuelsson paced the Bisons, posting a -2, 214 (70-74-70) mark to finished tie for 22nd.
Junior Davis Armstrong was close behind notching a score of -1, 215 (76-69-70) to place in a tie for 25th.
Senior Eric Gilpin and freshman Austin Aliff were among a group tied for 52nd as the two posted a score of +7, 223.
Rounding out Lipscomb’s crew was sophomore Isaac Noh who placed 78th with a score of +31, 247.
North Florida’s Travis Trace (-6, 203) took the individual title, while the Ospreys (-13, 834) also won the team title.
The Bisons will hit the links again in the spring as they return in February for the Sea Best Invitational.
