Men's Golf in 10th After Two Rounds at Desert Mountain Intercollegiate

SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. - The Lipscomb men's golf team sits in 10th place after the first day of competition at the Desert Mountain Intercollegiate, firing a 598 this afternoon.

The Bisons played a total of 36 holes on Saturday and carded a first-round score of 296 and a second-round score of 302.

Mississippi State leads the tournament at 559.

Linus Samuelsson paced the way for the Purple and Gold tied for 27th at 148 (73-75). Trevor Gold sits just one shot back of Samuelsson on the leaderboard at 149 (75-74) and is tied for 32nd.

The tournament will conclude with the final round tomorrow.
