BRASELTON, Ga. - The Lipscomb men's golf team completed the second round of the ASUN Championship on Moday afternoon and is in seventh place.
The Bisons carded a 305 on the day to give them a 36-hole total of 615 (310-305). North Florida stayed on top of the leaderboard after a round 283 and has a total score of 572.
Sophomore Paul Swindell continued to play well and moved up on the leaderboard into a tie for second place at 142 to pace Lipscomb. Swindell fired a round of three-under 69, which tied for the second-lowest score of the day.
His round featured five birdies and two bogeys and saw Swindell shoot three-under on the back-nine. Swindell has now recorded nine birdies throughout his two days of play, which is tied for the third-best mark in the field.
Linus Samuelsson and Trevor Gold are tied for 28th at 156. Gold carded a 77 in his second round, while Samuelsson posted a 79.
The Bisons will finish up the tournament with the third and final round tomorrow.
