After controlling most of the match Lipscomb allowed a late James Madison goal Sunday afternoon to upend the Bisons 1-0 in the Belmont Invitational championship game at Rose Park. The loss drops Lipscomb to 4-1 on the year while JMU improves to 3-2-1.
In a back-and-forth affair at Rose Park the Lipscomb men’s soccer team came from behind to upend Gardner-Webb 3-2 Friday afternoon in the opening game of the Belmont Invitational. With the win Lipscomb improves to 4-0 for the first time in the school’s NCAA era.
