Bethel College scored a pair of second half goals in a 2-0 shutout at Lipscomb University in an exhibition game Monday night.
Junior forward Malang Jarju scored the first goal at the 43:39 mark. Sophomore forward Sean Fraser scored the second goal with 6:47 remaining in the game.
Jarju worked his way through the Bisons defense to set up a shot from 18-feet out. The ball went on low to the right side of the goal as Bisons goalkeeper Jake Georgen was moving in the opposite direction.
Fraser scored when a pass from the left side of the goal hit him in the head and went into the net.
"I was pleased in that I think we dictated how the game was played," Morrow said. "We had some opportunities. We just need to execute better."
The Bisons play their second exhibition game Saturday night at 7 when Vanderbilt University visits.
Morrow praised the play of Cline, but is looking for someone to step up as the leader on the field against the Commodores.
"We are looking for someone to step forward and put their mark on the game," Morrow said.
The game's Box Score and play by play can be seen on the schedule page.
