Bisons continue road trip with stop at Stetson

The Bisons soccer team lost a tough defensive contest Saturday night, falling 1-0 on the road at Stetson in an Atlantic Sun Conference game.

The game was knotted 0-0 until the 74:05 mark of the second half when Tanner Wolfe fired a shot from 20-yards out that went by Bisons goalkeeper J.D. Murphy. Wolfe leads Stetson in goals with 10 for the season.

Murphy made seven saves for the Bisons. Stetson had 15 shots, nine shots on goal.

The Bisons made 11 shots with six shots on goal. Roland Borys led the Bisons with three shots on goal. Kevin Terry, Josh Cline and Andy Irvine each added a shot on goal for the Bisons.

Jeff Smeraglinolo made five saves on the way to the shutout for Stetson.

The Bisons are 2-5-1 overall, 0-2 in the conference. Stetson is 4-7-0, 2-0 in the A-Sun.
