Bisons sweep A-Sun Soccer Player of the Week honors
MACON, Ga. - Lipscomb’s Alexander Faulk and Brent McGee earned A-Sun Player of the Week and Defensive Player of the Week honors respectfully on the heels of an undefeated (2-0-1) week for the Bisons.

Faulk, a Birmingham, Ala. native, scored the first two goals of his collegiate career - both game winners. He found the net in a 1-0 win on Friday against Oral Roberts, and a 1-0 win on Sunday against Marshall as the Bisons won the Belmont Invitational. The freshman, an undeclared major, came off the bench to score both goals and earned all-tournament team honors.

McGee, a sophomore goalkeeper, made two saves in Friday night's game with Oral Roberts for his first shutout of the season, a 1-0 decision. Oral Roberts had 10 shots in the game, two shots on goal. He also held Berry College to one goal in 110 minutes of action on Tuesday to help the Bison earn a 1-1 tie. On the week, McGee, a Parkersburg, W. Va. native, posted nine saves and 0.45 goals-against average.
