Bisons fall in second half at Wofford
Wofford College scored in the 62nd and 66th minutes to go up 3-1 over the Bisons in their 4-1 victory Sunday afternoon at Synder Field in Spartanburg, S.C.

Lipscomb had control of the ball for the first seven minutes of action and attempted the first shot of the match at 10:06 on a wide shot by Andrew Chamberlain.

Wofford scored first with a goal by Andrew Eppelsheimer at 49:39 from 15 yards out.

Sophomore Andre Santos tied the game for Lipscomb with his first goal of the season at 51:44.  Andrew Chamberlain crossed the ball in front of the net and found Santos on the left post who scored into the corner of the net.

Kentrel Owens scored at 62:15 and 66:28 to put Wofford up 3-1.

Chase Nieri attempted Lipscomb’s only other shot of the afternoon at 76:45.

Mac Gambill scored Wofford’s fourth goal at 81:27.

Lipscomb opens Atlantic Sun action Thursday evening against Campbell at the Lipscomb Soccer Complex. Game time is 7 p.m.

Lipscomb is 3-4-1.  Wofford is 3-2-2.
